We plan training in Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, Advanced Excel and Power Query around your team’s experience and business needs. Our corporate technology training focuses on understanding concepts and learning through practice.

TRAINING CATALOGUE

Technology training for teams working with data.

Explore the training topics. We will agree the depth of coverage and prerequisites based on the participants’ experience.

Power BI

Explore the journey from preparing data to sharing reports through sample business scenarios.

Training topics
Acquiring and transforming data with Power Query; relationships and star schema modelling; DAX measures, filter context and time intelligence; interactive reports and dashboard design; Power BI Service workspaces, sharing and refresh; row-level security (RLS) access rules.
Who it is for
Business analysts, reporting specialists, finance teams and staff looking to analyse data with Power BI. The scope is adapted to participants’ knowledge of Excel and data concepts.
Learning objectives
Learning objectives include building a sample data model, calculating business metrics with DAX, designing reports and assessing publishing options. Service sharing and RLS exercises account for licensing requirements and workspace roles.

Microsoft SQL Server

Develop relational querying skills to understand enterprise data and prepare it for reporting.

Training topics
T-SQL SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY and aggregation; combining tables with INNER and OUTER JOIN; subqueries and common table expressions (CTEs); NULL values and data types; execution plans, the role of indexes and an introduction to query optimization.
Who it is for
Reporting specialists, data analysts and technical teams who need to query SQL Server data. Basic knowledge of data and tables is expected; prerequisites are assessed before the programme.
Learning objectives
Learning objectives include querying multiple tables, structuring queries with CTEs and validating results. Participants develop an approach to reading execution plans and index usage; using a CTE alone is not presented as a performance improvement.

Advanced Excel

Practise Excel methods for everyday data analysis and management reporting.

Training topics
Matching data with XLOOKUP; dynamic array functions such as FILTER, SORT and UNIQUE; logical and conditional aggregation functions; structured tables; summary analysis with PivotTable; charts, data validation and report layout.
Who it is for
Finance, sales, operations and reporting teams who use Excel in their daily work. Training is planned for participants with basic formula and worksheet knowledge.
Learning objectives
Learning objectives include matching data lists, creating dynamic analyses and preparing clear PivotTable reports. Support for XLOOKUP and dynamic arrays is checked against the Excel version used before training.

Power Query

Turn recurring data preparation tasks into a clear, refreshable query workflow.

Training topics
Connecting to data sources in Excel and Power BI; data types and error handling; column transformations, pivot and unpivot; merging and appending queries; parameters and an introduction to the M language; refresh requirements.
Who it is for
Analysts, reporting specialists and operations teams preparing data in Excel or Power BI. The environment and data sources are agreed as part of the training scope.
Learning objectives
Learning objectives include organizing data cleansing steps, combining sources and creating reusable queries. Refresh conditions, including source access and credentials, are assessed.

TRAINING FORMATS

A format that fits the way your team works.

We plan the scope and practice environment together to suit the selected format.

  • On-site corporate training

We agree venue, device and software requirements with your organization so the team can learn together in a shared environment.

  • Online group training

We plan a programme that supports group learning through live sessions, screen sharing and guided exercises.

  • Individual training

We develop a learning plan and content focused on the participant’s current knowledge and learning goals.

TAILORED CORPORATE PROGRAMMES

Shape the content around your business needs.

We assess participants’ roles, tools and priority business scenarios to plan the topic sequence and level of practice. Scope, duration and technical requirements are clarified during the initial discussion.

Exercises preferably use sample or anonymized data. If organizational data is to be used, access permissions and confidentiality requirements are assessed in advance.

HANDS-ON LEARNING

Reinforce concepts through sample scenarios.

We combine explanations with guided practice and exercises. We focus on helping participants explain their choices in data preparation, analysis and reporting.

  • Define the business question and expected output
  • Practise with sample data and validate the results
  • Review the approach together and discuss questions

TRAINING REQUEST PROCESS

Let’s define the programme together.

  1. Share your requirements

Tell us the training topic, your team’s prior knowledge and learning goals.

  2. Agree the scope and format

Let’s assess topic depth, the practice environment, training format and scheduling needs.

  3. Confirm the programme and preparations

Based on the agreed scope, we plan the programme, technical prerequisites and exercise preparation together.
